We are meant to look forward to life with Jesus as home

This world is not our home

This is how Paul was able to say that to live is Christ and to die is gain 

Without this perspective , we end up trying to make this camping trip our Home 

We spend our resources and time molding it into the kingdom

(All the perks, peace, beauty, rest)

Kingdom without the king

It’s the king that makes the kingdom

Think of the popularity of “Imagine by John Lennon”

(it’s a song about having a Kingdom without the King)

this is an logical impossibility.
(it is desiring all the benefits of God without having God to answer to)
